Fall activities kick off early at Wesley Wells Farms in St. Augustine with its Pumpkin Festival + Handmade Market on September 26.
The event features you-pick pumpkins, vegetables and flowers, live entertainment, food trucks, handmade vendors, farm animals, photo opportunities and a kids’ activity area. The farm will also continue offering seasonal you-pick opportunities after the festival.

Get Lost in the Maze at Sykes Family Farms
Sykes Family Farms in Elkton brings plenty of fall fun to St. Johns County with its annual crop maze.
The 2026 crop maze runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from October 3 through November 1. It is a classic fall outing for anyone looking for a little time outdoors and a chance to explore a local farm during the season.
Visit Congaree and Penn’s Pumpkin Patch
Congaree and Penn is another Northeast Florida favorite for pumpkin season.
Its 2026 pumpkin patch runs September 25 through November 1 on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Visitors can take the short walk out to the pumpkin patch, choose their pumpkin and purchase it at the farm stand.
The farm’s location makes it an easy fall outing for Jacksonville residents who want to get outside and enjoy a little bit of the countryside.
Explore Conner’s A-Maize-Ing Acres
Conner’s A-Maize-Ing Acres in Hilliard opens its 2026 fall season on October 3.
The farm’s fall activities include its crop maze and other farm experiences, with October Saturdays running from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The farm also has Peaceful Fridays on October 9, 16, 23 and 30 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Celebrate the Hilliard Harvest Festival
Hilliard is celebrating the season with its Harvest Festival on October 3.
The free community event runs from noon to 5 p.m., making it an easy option for a fall Saturday in Nassau County.
Head to St. Augustine for Greek Fest
Fall in St. Augustine is about much more than Halloween.
The Annual St. Augustine Greek Fest returns October 10 and 11 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. The festival is a chance to enjoy Greek food, music and cultural traditions while spending time in the nation’s oldest city.

The Northeast Florida Fair returns to Callahan October 8 through 18.
The annual fair features classic fair attractions, entertainment, food and family activities. The 2026 event also marks the fair’s 80th anniversary season.
For families across Nassau County and North Jacksonville, it is an easy way to spend a fall day without heading all the way into downtown Jacksonville.
Experience the NAS Jax Air Show
One of the biggest fall weekends in Jacksonville will take place October 17 and 18 with the NAS Jax Air Show.
The 2026 show is free to attend and includes free parking. Gates open at 9 a.m., the show begins at 11 a.m. and the Blue Angels are scheduled to perform at 2:30 p.m. Visitors can also see military and civilian aircraft demonstrations, aircraft displays, food vendors and a Kids Zone.

Shop Local at the Orange Park Fall Festival
The 2026 Orange Park Fall Festival takes place October 17 and 18 at 2042 Park Avenue.
The two-day event is one of Clay County’s longtime arts and crafts festivals, bringing artists, vendors, food and entertainment to the heart of Orange Park.

Raise a SteIn at Beaches Oktoberfest
Beaches Oktoberfest returns to Jacksonville Beach October 16 and 17.
The 11th annual event takes place at Seawalk Pavilion and features live music, German food, beer and other Oktoberfest traditions. General admission is free, while beverage and VIP experiences are available for purchase.
It is a fun way to enjoy a fall weekend while still taking advantage of the beach.
Watch the Jaguars at The Block Jax
Football season is another big part of fall in Northeast Florida.
The Block Jax is hosting Jaguars watch parties throughout the regular season, with games shown on the big screen and food and drinks available. General admission is free, with reserved VIP seating and VIP bar access available for purchase.
Several games are already scheduled for watch parties throughout the fall, including the September 27 game against the Patriots, the October 4 game against the Bengals, the October 11 and 18 London games, and additional November games.
Get Spooked at the Jacksonville Zoo
Halloween season gets underway at the Jacksonville Zoo & Botanical Gardens with Spooktacular.
The 2026 event is scheduled for October 10, October 15–18, October 22–25 and October 29–31. The event includes Halloween decorations, trick-or-treating, seasonal entertainment and other spooky experiences throughout the Zoo.

Celebrate Halloween in Murray Hill
Murray Hill-O-Ween returns October 24 for a family-friendly Halloween celebration.
The event includes a block party, local food trucks, a pumpkin patch, activities for kids and a Halloween parade along Edgewood Avenue. The celebration runs from 5 to 9 p.m.
Spend a Fall Afternoon at the Jacksonville Arboretum
The Jacksonville Arboretum & Botanical Gardens is introducing a new fall tradition this year with its Biergarten & Fall Fest Weekend.
The Biergarten takes place October 24 from noon to 4 p.m. and features craft beer tastings, local vendors, food trucks and lawn games. The family-friendly Fall Festival follows on October 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. with a pumpkin patch, Trunk or Treat, a nature-themed painting program and an interactive trail experience.

Trick or Treat in Historic St. Augustine
St. Augustine brings its own historic twist to Halloween with the Halloween Trick-or-Treat Festival at the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum.
The event takes place October 24 from 1 to 4 p.m. and gives families a chance to enjoy Halloween activities in the middle of the historic district.
It is also an easy event to pair with an afternoon exploring St. George Street, the Plaza and the rest of downtown St. Augustine.
Explore Jacksonville PorchFest
If music is more your thing, Jacksonville PorchFest returns to Historic Springfield on November 7.
The 12th annual event is a free, family-friendly music festival held throughout the neighborhood. More than 20 live bands are scheduled to perform on porches throughout Springfield, with food trucks, craft beer and an arts market also part of the event.

Visit the Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair
The Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair returns November 5 through 15, but this year comes with a major change.
The fair is now located at 13601 Normandy Boulevard on Jacksonville’s Westside. The 2026 fair will feature carnival rides, food, live entertainment, livestock exhibits, competitions, vendors and an expanded concert lineup at the new JAX Amphitheater.
